How and When did Peter Fraser DOB 25-12-1849 arrive in Australia? |

Hi Everyone
I am proud to have been born a FRASER. I am trying to trace my family history but seem to hit the proverbial wall when looking for the date and how, my Great Grandfather came to Australia.
His name is Peter Fraser - he was born on 25 December 1849 at Forres, Morayshire in Scotland.
Must have been a bit of a romantic as he married Catherine Mcdonald in Australia on 14 February 1879 at Floradale in Victoria.
Peter and Catherine had 9 children -
Donald;
Catherine;
Mary;
Alexander;
Peter;
Christina;
Thomas;
Colin and
Ann.
As far as I know Catherine moved to Queensland and selected land for the children when her husband Peter died in 1916.
Could any family or anyone who knows how Peter came to Australia please let me know. If you would like more information, please let me know.
