Hi Mel
I would suggest scotlandspeople.gov.uk as the best site for Scottish family history but privacy laws prevent them releasing births beefore about 1910 or marriages before about 1930 so probably any information after those dates will have to come from your husband or his immediate family.
Best of luck
Judy

General Discussion:: Useful Genealogy Links
To Fraser clan We came across a trascripton web site that may come in handy . Births deaths and marriage certificates are only $15.00 compared to $31.00 from births Deaths & marriages . All you need is the index number from births deaths & marriages to order certificates from these other people . The web site is -www.marbract.com.au Corey Fraser .

General Discussion:: Henry Fraser
Henry Fraser came to Tasmania sometime before 1864. He married Kesiah Ion nee Grace. He died in Launceston 1893. It is believed that he was going to claim an inheritance but he collapsed and died in Cleveland St. Launceston. (This is what I have heard). How much truth we do not know but he did collapse in Cleveland St as I have the inquest of that.
If anyone knows anything about Henry Goldsworth or Goldsmith Fraser I would be happy to hear from you. He is my great Grand father.
Elvief
